PHASE COMPATIBILITY IN THE SYSTEM CaO - SiO2 - Al2O3 - SO3

J. Strigáč, S. Sahu, M. Lopašovská, R.Ďurovčíková, V. Kovár, J. Majling

The oxide system C - S - A -S+,which includes phases C, S, A, S, C3S, C2S, C3S2, CS, C3A, C12A7, CA, CA2, CA6, C, A3S2, A3, C2AS, CAS2, C5S2S C4A3S, is analysed for its phase compatibility. The phase compatibility model of the system is derived from the literature data as well as from the own experimental study and from the partial modelling of the phase compatibility relationships based on the geometrical consideration. Twenty-eight equilibrium quaternary phase assemblages have been established, which define the entire subsolidus phase space.
