THE EFFECTS OF THE NATURE AND CONCENTRATIONS OF α-Al₂O₃ PRECURSORS ON SIMULTANEOUS SILICA-ALUMINA TRANSFORMATIONS

The effect of heating on the phase transformations in binary mixtures of amorphous SiO₂ and different precursors of α-Al₂O₃; (gibbsite, boehmite and γ-Al₂O₃) at the temperature of 1000 °C was studied. The influence of alumina precursors on the phase transformations has been explained by their thermal history.
