A method based on measuring the concentration profile in a diffusion pair with an inner electric heat source was worked out for determining the diffusionelectric coefficient in a water-saturated porcelain mix. The diffusion-electric process, due to the concentration gradient of soluble salts in the saturated ceramic body, decreases the density of alternating electric current. The ceramic mix containing a concentration gradient of the soluble salts, behaves as an inhomogeneous conductor and if it holds that grad c = 0, it behaves as a homogeneous conductor.
