DIFFUSION OF SILVER INTO Na₂O.2SiO₂ GLASS FROM AgNO₃ MELT

The changes in chemical composition of the surface layer of the base glass resulting from diffusion of silver from AgNO₃ melt at 350 °C are characterized by the content of Ag and its concentration profile in the glass. On the basis of these data the values of diffusion coefficients of silver and their dependence on the concentration of silver in glass were calculated.
