Ultra-fine supplementary cementitious materials (USCMs) possess higher pozzolanic activity than traditional supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), improving the hydration and early-strength development. In this study, ultrafine supplementary cementitious materials were used to replace sulfoaluminate cement(SAC)by a mass of 0, 10%, 20%, and 30%. The effect of the USCM on the mechanical properties, setting time, quantitative analysis and morphology of the SAC mortars were investigated. It was concluded that USCMs can promote the early hydration of SAC by facilitating the formation of ettringite, thereby accelerating the SAC setting time and enhancing the SAC early-stage strength by 50.2%.
