The oxide system C - S - A -S⁺,which includes phases C, S, A, S, C₃S, C₂S, C₃S₂, CS, C₃A, C₁₂A₇, CA, CA₂, CA₆, C, A₃S₂, A₃, C₂AS, CAS₂, C₅S₂S C₄A₃S, is analysed for its phase compatibility. The phase compatibility model of the system is derived from the literature data as well as from the own experimental study and from the partial modelling of the phase compatibility relationships based on the geometrical consideration. Twenty-eight equilibrium quaternary phase assemblages have been established, which define the entire subsolidus phase space.
