The electric and dielectric properties measured on samples of fluoride glasses provide valuable information on their properties as well as on the method employed in their preparation. The relationships obtained by measurement indicate that the glasses possess only one mechanism of electrical conductivity with an activation energy of 0.75 eV and that the courses of modular diagrams imply a dominating process of conductivity relaxation with relaxation time distribution. The transport takes place in a highly disarranged system. All of the changes were measured reversible over the given temperature interval.
