MODEL OF ELECTRIC RESISTANCE DRYING OF CERAMIC BODY IN QUASISTATIONARY CONDITIONS

The proposed model of electric resistance drying of ceramic bodies in a quasistationary conditions wus developed on the calculation of moisture and temperature fields. The solution has been derived or a constant diffusion coefficient as well as for a diffusion coefficient depending on temperature. A comparison of the results obtained with the two models and the experimental values showed a satisfactory agreement, thus proving the models to be suitable for the description of electric resistance drying.
