This paper examines the combined influence of ultrafine slag (USL) and limestone powder (LS) on the microstructural evolution and mechanical performance of aluminum-rich cement-based UHPC. Experimental findings show that the optimal mix of 20% USL and 10% LS (U20L10) achieves a 28-day compressive strength of 155.8 MPa and the lowest chloride migration coefficient. The synergistic mechanism involves LS providing nucleation sites to accelerate early hydration, USL consuming calcium hydroxide to generate additional C-S-H, and LS reacting with aluminate to form monocarboaluminate (Mc), increasing paste density. U20L10 yields C-S-H with the greatest mean chain length and Al/Si ratio, minimal total porosity, and optimized pore architecture. Fractal dimension (Ds) positively correlates with compressive strength and fine capillary pores (3–50 nm), and negatively with chloride migration, suggesting its potential as a useful parameter for characterizing pore structure and performance within the studied mixture system. Thus, combined USL and LS is an effective strategy for producing durable, high-performance UHPC.
