Ba1.45Sr2.4Ce0.1LixNa2-xNb10O30 ceramic compositions in the range of x = 0.0 ≤ x ≤ 1.0, which belong to tungsten-bronze structural family were prepared using a solid-state reaction technique. X-ray diffraction study confirms the formation of the compounds in an orthorhombic tungsten bronze (mm², OTB) phase at room temperature which has been supported by tolerance factor and average electronegativity difference. Measurement of conductivity as a function of temperature suggests that the samples have positive temperature coefficient of resistance (PTCR) with typical semiconductor behavior which could be suitable for pyroelectric and PTCR applications. The pyroelectric properties of BSCLNN – Barium Strontium Cerium Lithium Sodium Niobate ceramics are reported.
