EFFECT OF THE QUANTITIES CONTROLLING THE DTA AND TA COURSE ON THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MEASURED AND THEORETICAL START TEMPERATURE VALUE OF REACTION

Initial temperature of a studied process which may under definite conditions and in a limiting case be assumed to be an equilibrium temperature of the system under consideration is in addition to other methods to be determined by estimating the DTA and TA curves of this system. The difference between the theoretical value of this temperature and that measured by these methods is a function of quantities characterising the corresponding thermal method such as the rate of temperature change, weighed amount of sample etc. An approximate form of this function has been derived in this paper.
