Using the transpiration method, the density of B₂O₃ vapours was measured in the temperature range of 1000 to 1400 °C in dry nitrogen and in nitrogen­ water vapour with a partial preasure of 0.01-0.05 MPa. The results were confronted with data from the literature and with calculations based on thermo­dynamic data.
